Description
The Pet First Aid & Disaster Response Guide is designed to help pet owners provide temporary, urgent care to pets until they can reach a veterinary, or emergency clinic.

The class will teach students to care for their animals before, during, and after an emergency. Hands on training is given for chest compressions, rescue breathing, bandaging for bleeding control and basic splinting will be practiced. This course is appropriate for individuals that are 18 years of age and older. Individuals who are under 18 years of age and interested in this course may be approved, please contact us for additional requirements. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for indoor/outdoor activities including bending, sitting, standing, and light lifting. Closed-toe shoes only. We recommend wearing a ball cap or wide-brimmed hat during warm months and appropriate winter hat during cold months for outdoor activities. *******This class does not replace the need to have your pet seen by a veterinarian
